Bloke In A Bar

This episode is a season-wide NRL review that works through every team in reverse ladder order. It opens with defensive play of the year, then settles into a long-form, club-by-club breakdown covering the Dragons through to the Roosters.

Daniel Tupou’s retirement is the centerpiece here, with attention on his four premierships and what his exit means. The episode also moves through Grand Final talk, roster moves, Kangaroos discussion, Rabbitohs-Munster whispers, and RLWC squads.

The episode centers on the Roosters winning the Grand Final, with a long-form review of the decider and a later discussion of the Kangaroos squad. It looks like a straightforward footy chat built around the biggest result of the season and what comes next.

Connor Watson has been ruled out of the Grand Final, delivering a major late twist to the biggest game of the season. This episode focuses on the impact of that news and why his absence looms so large.

Nathan Cleary’s Dally M Medal win is the focal point of this episode, which also tees up a Grand Final preview with Sandor Earl and Reni Maitua. It looks set to blend awards-night reaction with a forward look at the season’s biggest match.
